Super Eagles gaffer Jose Peseiro said he accepted new a contract to help Nigeria win next African Cup of Nations.
Peseiro agreed a new deal with Nigeria Football Federation few days to the final African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sao Tome and Principe.
The new terms saw the Portuguese $70,000 monthly salary reduced to $50,000.
