A throwback video of Zinoleesky saying he was not really friends with the late singer and his former label mate, Mohbad, has resurfaced online.

During an interview on City FM in January 2023, the Marlian singer said that he and Mohbad were normal buddies, but he wouldn’t describe him as a friend.

In his words, he said: “Mohbad is my guy, I can’t say he is my friend like that.”

The interview was done after Mohbad left Marlian Music owned by rapper, Naira Marley due to an internal dispute and allegations of assault.

Several fans are expressing their disappointment at him over his comments, with some accusing him of not showing support to Mohbad after his fallout with his label boss.

Mohbad died on Tuesday, September 12, and was laid to rest in Ikorodu the following day.
