Ndidi on target as Leicester City demolished Aribo’s Southampton

Ndidi’s goal came in added time of the first-half, putting Leicester 3-1 ahead.

The in-form midfielder received a pass inside Southampton’s box, skillfully dribbled passed his opponent, and calmly scored past the goalkeeper.

So far this season, Wilfred Ndidi has now scored three goals for the Foxes.

His Compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho also featured for the Foxes, while Joe Aribo in action for Southampton.

Aribo came on as a substitute in the 78th minute, while Iheanacho was introduced with only six minutes left to play.

Samuel Edozie, an England-born Nigerian midfielder, scored Southampton’s only goal in the 25th minute, reducing the deficit to 2-1.

With this victory, Leicester currently top the league standings with 15 points from six games played so far in the Championship.

Southampton, on the other hand, is in seventh position with 10 points on the log.
