The convoy of the Bauchi’s First Lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Muhammad, was reportedly trapped in flood water on her way.
An X user Ainà Dipo @dipoaina1 confirmed the development through a post shared on his page accompanied by photos.
In the statement, he concluded that “this tells you a lot about that Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and what it stands for”.

NiMet releases list of 21 states expected to witness heavy rain
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted that there will be heavy rainfall in about 21 states in the country on Friday, September 8.
The weather forecast released by NiMet on Thursday, September 7, indicates that some parts of Kwara and Niger states will witness heavy rainfall on Friday.
Legit.ng gathers that 20 other states including Bauchi, listed by the agency will experience moderate to heavy rainfalls.
Bauchi gov leads special prayer, begs God for rain
Legit.ng reported earlier that Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state has tabled a special prayer before God.
The Bauchi number one citizen, on Thursday, July 20, led a crowd of people in special prayer for rain as the drought situation worsened in the state.
Speaking shortly after the session, Mohammed said the state has been experiencing delayed rainfall, hence the prayer for divine intervention.
