Ayodele bags Three Medals at IWF World Championship

In the women’s 64kg category, Ayodele secured two silver and one bronze medal, lifting 100kg in the Snatch event, 122kg in the Clean and Jerk, and achieving a total weight of 222kg.

Colombia’s, Mosquera Llamosa claimed three gold medals in the same category, lifting 101kg in the Snatch event, 122kg in the Clean and Jerk, and reaching a total weight of 223kg.

Korean weightlifter Minkyung Park also performed well, securing one silver and two bronze medals in the women’s 64kg event.

In the women’s 59kg category, Nigerian weightlifter, Rafiatu Lawal finished in sixth place, lifting 100kg in the Snatch event, 125kg in the Clean and Jerk, and achieving a total weight of 225kg.

Adijat Olarinoye placed 15th in the same category, with a lift of 95kg in the Snatch event, 120kg in the Clean and Jerk, and a total weight of 215kg.

In the men’s 73kg category, Edidiong Umoafia finished in 18th place, lifting 140kg in the Snatch event, 170kg in the Clean and Jerk, and achieving a total weight of 310kg.
