Nigeria sprinter, Tobi Amusan tasted victory at the Diamond League final in Oregon on Sunday.
The Nigerian star won Women’s 100m Hurdles with a time of 12.33 seconds to clinch her third successive diamond league title.
Amusan arrived Diamond League Prefontaine Classic at Hayward Field with a point to prove after disappointing outing at the last World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
The 26-year-old lost her world title in embarrassing fashion, placing sixth in the final won by Jamaica’s Danielle Williams.
Amusan started the race strong and maintained her lead and finished with a season-best time of 12.33 seconds.
It was the fourth fastest time in the world this season.
Budapest silver medalist Jasmine Camacho-Quinn from Puerto Rico finished second with a time of 12.38, while Keni Harrison from the United States took third place with a time of 12.44.
The world champion, Danielle Williams from Jamaica, finished fourth with a time of 12.47.
Amusan is now the second woman in Diamond League history to win three consecutive 100m hurdles titles.
