Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho says the team is ready for Today’s game against Guinea-Bissau and hopes to come through with a win.
Nigeria will host Guinea-Bissau in the first half of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Abuja, and win will move the Super Eagles within three points of securing at place at the tournament next year.
Speaking with Brila.net , Uzoho said the team’s priority is to get victory, but hopes to get the nod as first choice goalkeeper.
“On a personal level, I am well prepared, and the team as well, we are training well, and we are trying to understand every tactical aspect of the game from our coach. So we are getting there, we will be prepared for the game.
“I will like that if the coach picks me (to start), that’s the first step. If the coach picks me, then I will like to end the game with a clean sheet, but the most important thing is to get the three points and the qualification, that’s what matters,” the 24 year-old stated.
